Race Results - Nov 20th - OFI Raceway

There was some competitive racing today at Rob Fowler's OFI Raceway. Five of us raced and Marcus and his son stopped in briefly for some practice laps before the race.

The first race was Slot.It Group C cars and we ran in a counter-clockwise direction (not Rob's favorite). Scott's Martini Lancia was hooking up. He took honors besting Rob's AAR Toyota by 2 laps. Here are the lap totals:

Rob - AAR Toyota 88C - 112
Danny - Warsteiner Porsche - 108
Matt - Swap Shop Porsche - 106
Steve - Michelin Mercedes C9 - 106

Rob ran away in Ninco JGTC with his Castrol Toyota beating Scott's second place Ninco Club NSX by 6 laps. We ran this race counter-clockwise too. Lap totals:

Rob - Castrol Toyota Supra - 116
Scott - Ninco Club NSX - 110
Matt - Woodone Toyota Supra - 108
Danny - Denso Toyota Supra - 107
Steve - Eclipse Lexus SC430 - 98

The final race was run in a clockwise direction with Slot.It GT cars. Rob took honors again. This time besting Steve's second place by 5 laps. The lap totals were;

Steve - Loctite McLaren F1 GTR - 116
Scott - EMI McLaren F1 GTR - 114
Matt - Gulf McLaren F1 GTR - 108
Danny - Fina McLaren F1 GTR - 102

Thanks to Rob for hosting this event and providing lunch. A great time was had by all and Matt and Danny did well for their first time racing on this circuit.

Had a great time racing with y'all today. Fun track Rob, I found it challenging but was starting to get a feel for the flow of it towards the end.

Great day of racing and I was glad Matt and Danny could make it. Since Steve didn't have his usual strong showing yesterday, I figure Laguna Trace will get built a little quicker now! Rubber tires on the second race didn't help him any.
Since Leadfinger starting hanging out with the boys from down South, he's gotten a lot faster. Of course that $400 controller didn't hurt either! The only way to slow him down was to give him some pumpkin pie!!
