Hey Bruce, this is from the 1/32 Porsche GT3r tips.

Now take your gear press and press on the 11 tooth brass gear. (I have since tried a 10 tooth gear. Wow!! This gives great low end speed) Then once you have the gear in place, take a Dremel tool and trim off the excess shaft on both sides (optional

What Im asking is, I never heard of a 10 tooth sidewinder pinion for Scaly, what brand 10 tooth are you using.
As far as I know it needs to be 6.5mm pinion for Scaly sw and Ive never seen a 10 tooth in that diameter.

Slot.it has a fine 10t 6.5 od pinion...

this one was done years ago but i'm 99.9% sure it was a Slot.it gear.
