Dear Mister Wetcoast: the rain must be gettin to ya. (Miss Beverley replying here) and for someone who doesn't know his produce.... Miss B is busy making money so Reckless can find the house with the track room (preferably shed). How 'bout he come to YVR and you and he can "make a track plan" on your PC! How's that for a plan.

Wood be good to have him back for a rematch!

We have a spare room; he can sleep with the cat, who enjoys excellent facilities ...

I'll provide the croissants, if Eric has the coffee.

Reckless...by any chance to you have Adobe Illustrator on your MAC?

if so, I can provide you with ROUGH drawings of all the scalextric track pieces that you can use to layout a track.

they are not perfect, but generally get you as much in the ballpark as other layout software seems to do.

you just need to be some what proficent with Illustartor to use it (i.e..rotate the pieces by degrees instead of by 'eye' to make sure everything lines up)

let me know. it's a long shot, but worth me asking.

ps. sad to see the coffin go. As you know, I stole most of my ideas on scenery and stuff from you (it's still coming. haha)

Thanks for the offer Brad, however I don't have illustrator. Not only that, but the track is only a memory now, it would be tough to recall the various configuration of pieces that went into the varying radius corners etc.

Long live the coffin!

Which reminds me ... when is your move?

I swear they built St Paul's Cathedral* in less time than your new place.

* Not that I didn't appreciate it ...

Thanks for posting the layout of the deceased "coffin" Dr. Vanski! Hope all the boxes arrive in the new location intact!

Dr. V., I hope your move went well.

I copied your Coffin plan to Tracker 2000. With a small change the track will line up almost perfectly.

Hi Tom,

That track was in the former home of Reckless Racer. I just got to hang out there, drink his beer, and race on it. Word has it that a sprawling 1/32 scale shopping mall is located where The Coffin once stood.

Rand aka Slotict did up the original design and Eric aka Reckless tinkered with it until he got what he liked. I'm located up the street from automobilia store Mini Grid in Toronto, and I designed a four lane track inspired by The Coffin for their basement.

Nothing beats the original though: a great combo of twisty bits and nice long back straight.

Van
