I love the Scaleauto wheels 21mm x 8mm and 13mm with 3mm axle hole, but no rib!

Are these for sponge tyres, and which are the best for the SC porsche please?

We do not use them on the Porsche as we run inserts to complete the Scale look.

However you certainly can mount Scaleauto sponge to these and true up. With these front and rear the cars would look stunning.

Not at the Warehouse yet so do not have all the part numbers to hand but you would run the 13mm wide rim if memory is correct 20 mm diameter.

SC-4204 “RAD-1” Design for 3mm. Axle. M3 screw actually 21 mm. These are nopt in stock yet but coming soon Retail $25.99 plus sponge.

The wheels/tires we use for racing Retail for $18.99 and can take the stock insert so complete the "Scaleracing" look.

The wheel looks great but why 3mm? Surely this is a step in the wrong direction?

3mm is a standard axle size in Europe, especially for 1/24 scale.

The 1/24 scale Scaleauto Porsches use a 3mm axle. As does 1/24 BRM and Ninco's Xlot.

Thanks,my cynical nature makes me think that 3mm sizing is to do with business interests rather than better engineering reasons.
