Do you recommend any particular tyres for this fitment, e.g. Gage urethanes? I've recently bought some of the standard ones for this car (PGT-21083) from him on ebay, and I am wondering if there is a similar width and diameter tyre that suits your wheels

The MRRC tyre which us used on their Chaparral etc, has the right size and height of centre ridge for Al's 15" .275 wheels
More significantly, the shoulders are "offset" - so by fitting them with the narrower side shoulder to the outside, you can get the outside edge of the hub and the tyre flush, with a bit of "meat" on the inside of the hub, and so have 8.5mm (0.34") of tyre width clearing both wheel arch and chassis.
But they need grinding down as their profile is too tall.
(I was using my own urethanes in this profile. Paul probably makes them as well)
I fitted a Slot.it 18mm Spur, "tipped" it - took the tips off the teeth with file to bring it down to 17.5mm (0.7"), and ground the tyres till they were about 19.2mm (0.77") diameter on the BWA .275 hubs.
That lowered the rear of the car nicely and made it less prone to rolling at the first sight of a corner

I also trued the original fronts and lowered that, which in turn dropped the guide to full depth in the slot.
As the empty magnet box was close to touching the track, I put in ahseet of card where the magnet had been to fill the hole, then filled it with JB Quick...... That stiffened the whole chassis, and so I could then grind away the leading edge of it to give the chassis clearance on my track.
