Hi Jim
I think Nate and the others where talking about something after the holidays. Not sure if that was just Turkey Day or X-Mas was included.

Default Re: date of January race at your place

Hi Nate, I have got a bad conflict for Saturday Jan 21, I emailed Steve C already since it was his suggested date (I think) Anyway, I could do Friday nite or Sunday but I have several old music pals in town for a reunion play on Saturday and I can't change it or bow out.

Dang I hate it when this happens!

Anyway, if we can reschedule, esp with Steve that would be awesome.

Hope Thanksgiving was good for you guys.

best

Max

Can you post the rules for this class? Motors limits? Change pods? I'm thinking of a Scaleauto BMW with a slotit pod. Or maybe a Scalextric Mclaren GT3 with a 3D podded chassis.

We haven't been having any points races lately so open for the rules any motor and both those cars would definitely work. I think anything over 25k on Redhill will be a real handful. Group c is just the stock motor by rules.

Mr. Jim
The 1/32 scaleauto's run real nice the way they are. Just put foams on the back and swap the rear hubs to the front. I run it with the scaleauto 18k motor.
Mclaren doesnt need much either if using the standard 18k motor. I just changed out the fron guide with a slot-it/ b-nova adapter and urathanes. simple.

If you guys are still up to runing a proxy, my track is available. Just let me know what class of car.

I also assume that we'll be using BOP at the races??? (That means I run one of Nate's cars!!!).

Group C is not only 'stock' motor -but stock placement - inline - as well... and rubber/urathane tires for all classes... yes?

Nothing I have will be set up for wood anyway -- or plastic -- as I still don't have the track up!!

Looking forward to racing again, however....
