I think that's the reason we were allowing anglewinders. Though I was thinking of trying an inline on my Porsche. LOL

I've always tried to follow the same guidelines when I race.

1. Try to race my own cars
2. Race the cars I like
3. More horsepower LOL

You sold me. Back to original rules inline pods only up to 22k motors. Sorry for the confusion on the rules fellas.

This should be a fun day!
Do we have a start time that you normally go by so I can plan?

Steve C, thinking about making a trip? Believe me, now the challenges.. Be good to see all you guys.

I'll be driving back from the Fray that morning, so that should be OK.

Yes, the new ones do --which is great - except that it obsoletes all the previous releases, which is why we didn't allow the 911GTLM unless it was changed to in-line. And, of course, some people tried to argue that anglewinder wasn't inherently faster -- but we know that Slot.it's are - and that's why they made the change.

Jim, you need to know that I don't really care, of course, but I hate to see member's cars being made redundent just to produce a faster version - and eventually, we could just make every class anglewinder and 30K motors!! LOL

Just wanted to get some action going here!!

So how about a short list of what cars we can run in the FIA GT or what ever it is class. Looks to be with an in-line pod 22k motor. I am sure Steve is banging his head against the wall with this question as I would ask the same question everytime we would race at Black Point. Group C I got that down, even a simpleton like myself can figure that one out. Thanks * EDIT* Hey Jim is the Fray still held in Ferndale??

I'm not making any decisions, but at the Laguna Seca round of the the 1997 FIA GT race the GT1 cars were:
Mercedes CLKM GTR (Scalextric and Ninco)
Porsche 911 GT-1 (The slotit is the 98 version)
Lister Storm GTL (Fly)
McLaren F1 GTR (slot)
Lotus Elise GT-1 (Avant Slot)
Panoz GTR-1 (Fly)
The Nissan R390 GT1(slotit) and the Toyota GT-One (Scale Auto) raced at LeMans
The GT2 cars were a collection of Porsche, Viper, Mustang, Marcos and on lone Morgan.

There are 3D printed chassis available for the Fly Panoz and the Ninco Mercedes.

Yes Bill, the Fray is in Ferndale.

GT1 + inline + 22k motor it is!
Since I have't run the track in a while, do I get a handicap??
