Nice Jim!

How are you going to set these up, stock? or with a 3D chassis?
I have one, red Becker, that i put a 3D under with the usual Slot-it pieces parts. Runs good with the stock chassis too, with just a rear assembly and guide change.

I think I'm just going to change tires and gears. If they don't run good that way I may go to a 3D chassis, but kind of expensive for an IROC set.

For IROC , stock chassis is fine. Ran mine that way for a while back west. They run well as long as you swap out the rear axle assembly and change the guide. I change mine last year to see if you can get it competitive with a slot-it... Not there yet, lol.

Yes Fly..

Did the same with mine. and they ride nice with just a little bit of weight added. Did you "glue" the pod? Improves it even more.

Those have pods? Interesting. I figured they were the old ones that were just a plastic chassis with a clipped in motor.

Glen's been smoking something --- We looked at an M-1 IROC Series some time back - where you would keep your 'body' -throw identically prepped chassis into a box and everyone would draw two chassis or so 'on the day' of the race....

That would be interesting...

Jim - I have some Marlboro decals if you want to 'finish' Niki's car...

I also seem to remember that Mike built a killer M-1 for Tim to run (in Playboy livery..??) which was one of the reasons we were not going to allow M-1's into Group 4 Class. (Capri, Escort, Porsche 911 -934, Alfa etc.) I feel much the same way about the BIG M-1's in Group 5... Kinda like a Mosler...

WOW.. tossed under the bus.

That must have been before I started playing with you guys.. I ran my Group 4 M1 with your Group 5 races since I didn't have a Group 5. Just be happy it wasn't a silver surfer.

Steve, your track up yet?
