That's the news I heard. Something like three or four years of Gordo lobbying like a mad man (no surprise, he's from Alberta and drinks rum) so after an amazing amount of SCI voting, the thing will be realized.

I won't hold my breath waiting for the Citation; sure as hell wouldn't buy one! And I don't believe, personally, that the market needs or will welcome more street cars, from any manufacturer.

That said, MacMoose's suggestion of a Reliant Robin is appealing; they could to a 'Top Gear' version; if you don't get that, then you don't understand.

Listen up people. This is not Twitter. This is not ... whatever. This is a slot car site, dedicated to promoting the hobby. I, for one, am delighted to see that Gorp is back, expressing himself in his uh usual style.

But seriously, if you're looking for an argument, seeking domination over others and their opinions and desires, then for pity's sake could you do that on HRW or Slot Forum or something?

I could see a 3-wheeler where the front wheel is the single wheel because you could put it in front of the guide blade and let it barely touch the track.
A 3-wheeler with the single at the rear would seem incredibly unstable as it would constantly fall into the slot.

I doubt whether they would just roll over and do that one.

The Chaparral 2D was done in East Germany under the Prefo brand... some even had steering front ends!

Mind you they obviously based this off of pictures they saw as the proportions are off and the motors were also of East German manufacturer.... when people point out how slow the cars are the drivers say "We simply want to enjoy each lap for as long as possible!".

The bodies are of a strange plastic that most acrylics won't stick to.

They also made a Melkus RS2000 which is heavily lifted from Lotus designs of the time and a ton of cigar Formula 3ish cars. Melkus also made formula cars that they made models of. There was also a Ferrari P5 I think it was called... very wacky.

Still wanna suggest something classic that historically runs against something Scaley already makes. That way you don't need to make a bunch of new models, only one or two. Lotus 25. Many world championship F1 wins, several different teams ran it. Ran against Ferrari 156s and various Cooper Climax, among many others.
