Default Bertrand's figure 8 - D132 with pit lane

Has anyone done a layout in the Bertrand figure 8 style with a Carrera Digital pit lane? Where would be the best place to put it? I'm thinking right under the bridge, with might cause problems. Should the straight go on top with the curves below?

Also, has anyone done a version is a 4'x10' space?

Is this what you're referring to?

I would put it on the long straight, but closer to either of the corners so that it was not under the bridge. You probably could get it where the image shows the CU and controllers given you could move those parts to any area of the track.

Parallel to your "start finish", just beside it and don't forget to make your pit lane count your laps !

Because of the minimum length for the pit straight (5 full straight lengths IMO ) and the lane changer straight (3 full straight lengths), a typical curvy Bertrand 8 probably won't work for you.

The pit lane and the lane changer probably shouldn't be on the same straight. It's difficult to precisely time lane-change operations.

This design has the minimum straight lengths with an uncovered pit lane area. It uses 6 pieces (1 box) of R2/30 curves.
