NINCO1,
Is it too late to consider adding the Ferrari 360GTC to the qualifiers? This is one that NINCO included, but it's not in the US list. I was looking forward to an evo equipped one.

Jethro,
NINCO didn't include it anywhere....... What you have been seeing is the list that the British used for their races.
Although it is an anglewinder car, the Ferrari 360 will not be included in the US races.

a question. on the surface these two rules completely contradict each other.
rule 17: cleaning braids between rounds............if observed by track official.
rule 37: once the race starts, a competitor can only 'pit', his car during actual racing or 'green' periods. 'Pit' means: cleaning braids ......... etc.
================================================
All you need to do is add however to rule #37.
So you can either #17 clean your braids between round if observed by a Track Official or #37 However once the race starts, a competitor can only 'pit', his car during actual racing or 'green' periods. 'Pit' means: cleaning braids ......... etc.
So it is either or or both, however if you choose #37 you will be doing it while the race is running losing laps, the race will not stop for you to clean your braid.
What about the red and yellow Lambo slot cars that come with the Ninco Urban Assault race set? It would be cool to buy the race set and also have an eligible car(s) for the Ninco races.
Brian, I agree!
The two Lamborghini Gallardo's that come with the New 20141 Urban Assault Set and the two Lexus SC430's that come with the new 20138 Super Series sets can be used in the race series.
This info has been added to The World Cup Rules "Sticky" thread.

If my understanding is correct, the white Megane body that came in the Megane pro race
kits is a legal body, but the lime green body in not legal. Am I correct?
Is there some sort of body identifier molded into the body that identifies the various white kit bodies? I have one white Megane body that came in my Megane pro race kit.
The only stupid question is the one not asked.
I understand, the need to sell slot cars for Ninco to stay in business.
I'll defer to Bob, but I would think that you could paint any body that you wanted. Just as long as you mate it to a required chassis.
The white one would be the one to paint IMO.
Batman,
The only Megane trophy cars authorized are the 50452 "McDonalds" and the 50481 "TDS".
The bodies from the 50406 ProDriver Prorace kits are not on the list.
The new 80863 Megane Trophy Prorace Evo "White" Body Kit is authorized.

So let's say I love the look of the Lexus Zent car (usually the overriding reason for me to make slot purchase). Besides gears, bearings, wheels, screw, tires and an NC 6 motor, what else will I want to consider to make the car better. I'm hearing "Evo", lightweight bodies and/or chassis etc. Are these latter items available for the Lexus? And what else have I missed?
(I know I could probably find the answer if I had the energy but I was hoping one of you could lay it out in a nutshell)
I'm positive the Lexus has a "lightweight" body kit available along with the lexan chassis. Whether these are better than the old chassis material has yet to be tested. Make sure to tape the motor down if you choose to run the old chassis! I'm sure taping the motor down wouldn't hurt either if you use the lexan chassis with the motor screw.
Thanks guys. Sounds like one should consider building a car versus buying a RTR this year.
Jethro - you know me. I'd really prefer to buy a car and stick it on the track but I've tried that in our Cincy racing and you engineers have a way of making me pay.
It will be interesting to see which cars set up the best this year. That Lexus is too pretty to pass up for me.
