That photoshopped lane is hilarious! Handed you your hat? Like I tell my wife: I have told you at least a million times not to exaggerate so much! We must have had a 1,000 laps running wheel-to-wheel: amazing! Racing on this track is going to be gripping.
One more little comment on the track: yesterday was the first time EVER that I have had a slot car roll backwards after stopping on an incline! Admittedly it was my Ninco Gallardo which has the bestest gear mesh I have ever seen (and somehow still manages to be my noisiest car...), but still! Will have to figure out a way of keeping my foot on the brake somehow...
What happened to that Otto Zipper Alfa 33/3? A bit o paint to help with visibility? Love mine but I wish they hadn't deleted the headlights... Oh well ther is always a white kit...
There's a lotta Alfas around here, so this helps a bit, but I've always liked this paint scheme they ran at Sebring...if Slot-it comes out with this one, I'll be buying it
Everything is running smoothly, time to get started on scenery...I saved all the buildings from the last Targa, but most need to be modified a bit...
Luf, The building in this picture I know is modeled after a much photographed turn on the actual course; do you happen to know then if this turn has a name? My circuit has a good place for a model of this same building, but I was wanting to research it some more and I thought a name might help!?

That turn is known as the "hairpin" in Collesano. In 1967 Nino Vaccarella broke his rear wheel on a curb in that turn after turning the fastest lap in his Ferrari P-4,and had to drop out handing Porsche a 1-2 finish.....i'll bet he has a nickname for that turn.
