Can-Am cars are in the Dungeon

The cars have arrived here at the Dungeon (thanks Dan!!)

I looked at the schedule for 2010, and according to that, I have til the 23rd to get the race in...

I have to be honest...I don't think that's going to happen..

Between now and the 24th, I have 3 tractor pulling events to deal with. And as one of the directors, it's going to take a lot of any free time I may have. And to top it off, the pull on the 24th is here at my house, so that's just like doing double duty to get things set up for that date.

I will try to have the race on the 31st, with August 7th as a back-up.

Hopefully this is ok with everyone?

Are those SLOT tractors?

Do they have SuperTires? And what do they pull, besides your....

....leg.

No rush to race from my POV. Both my cars have already seen their best races of the season, I fear, and it's all downhill into the dungeon from here.

No leg pulling here...

And no slot needed either, though sometimes there are 2 "slots" in the track from the tires (not Supertires) after a pull...

Will this delay the return of the cars? Some of us would like them back to revamp for next year. Postage overseas can take up to 4 weeks each way.

Hi Phil,

At worse case, the delay would be 2 weeks according to the schedule.
I'm sure they'll still be time for you to revamp your car and get it back for 2011...

I'm going to "piecemeal" the qualifying before the race (ie, a little here and there).

Qualifying has gotten started for the GTU class.

So far #23 is looking real good, but still some fast cars to come...
