That's probably why it qualified so far down the field, my driver was disorientated.
Paul, We need to watch your car closely. While I was testing RPM at the rear wheels, your motor smoked but then came back to life.

With a bit of luck it will be just a bit of lubricating oil that has wicked its way on to the
comm .

It may have been just that but I will tell you that it smelled more like toasted armature!

Thanks for the info Mike, better to know before the racing starts.
Can you run it for a few laps and see if it still pulls like a freight train. If it needs a new motor let me know and I'll either pay for a replacement if anyone local has one or I’ll post another motor.
The motor is glued in but all you need to do is flex the chassis to pop it out if it does need replacing.
