Provisional Entry List and the first technical details are now published on the official CanAm 2012 website at www.canam2012.com.
For now, we have the weight, the contact patch, the rear track and the motor RPM at the wheels. All other technical info will be published soon, hopefully before 2012 begins (depends on the mail between US and Canada!).
You can also download the Excel file for the technical details from the menu on the left.
Qualifying times will be published as soon as possible also.
Yeah well done Geno, that's an inspired piece of painting there.

Be careful guys, if you make his head too big, I'll have to start having him come in thru the overhead door when comes to race here
Just kidding, that's a sweet ride, and when he first showed it to me(not quite finished) he asked me if I thought it was too corny of course I said yes , and he should give it to me, to get rid of for him
Geno, You did a beautifiul job with your car. I would love to know how you did the Stars and Maple Leaf.
Thanks Smokeio wish I could tune a car like you!
I painted the car white 1st, then I sketched a maple leaf on some typing paper, turned it over and used a soft lead pencil to cover the back with graphite, then turned it over and placed it on the mask and traced along the out line which transfered the lead to the mask, and then cut it out and sprayed the red.
I had an old templete with a star on it.
I used Parafilm "M" laboratory film for the mask, I got it at Micro Mark.
Thanks for the hard work guys. Glad the "Cuda" is still competitive.
Where the heck is Dickie's car. Who the hecks going to be my whipping boy if NH Dung Racer isn't in the field?
In the south, we would call him "skeert".
See Dickie, I can still whoop up on you even if you don't have a car in the race. You can run, but you can't hide.
Excellent, thanks very much guys. So far so... OK. Defintiely not wonderful but..OK.
Quick correction: in the results and the tech info on the official site my car is listed as a Porsche 917. It was DEFINITELY a 908 when it left here, so unless someone hijacked it and put another body on it, I am really hoping it still is a 908 and not a 917?
I have just read all the registration thread and see that Haystsck requested No 7 on the 6th Nov, but had not paid his entry, but could not find any number request from double B so assume he just thought it was free and sent his no 7 car in with that number also.makes it ever more difficult when both are GTU!
Nice job of laying things out this year Christian, much easier to scan the page and look up info than before, it 'fits' the screen so much better.
Couple questions - are the rpms at the rear axle theoretical based on motor specs and gearing, or measured? Also, is there a picture somewhere of the track they ran on for qualifying? And isn't it fun herding them there Tasmanians?
