thats what I was thinking, and its not really a racer, just a race car hauler

What brand is that model and where did you find it I would like to have just a model of it I run HO so I dont need a racer but one to look at would be nice ..

Nice model truck.

Re high or low: if you want to run it on a track the lower the CG the better.

The body is heavy and has high CG so plenty of weight down really low will let it handle the corners with some slide rather than tip.

1.6mm brass pans low at the sides would help a lot.

My 2 cents ....

What ever you decide have fun doing it.

you are so correct Irco, but I think I will race this one just for fun, make a car hauler out of it.

I have a model kit of the Hairy Hurst Olds, the 1\1 scale car had twin engines and the frame building for the truck is practise for the Olds as I plan to make it twin engine and 4 wheel drive
