The optional Digital Chronometer can be easily plugged onto the side of the track, displaying lap times for each car, flashing each time a new fastest lap is achieved. When the qualifying race is over, it displays the finishing order of the cars, determining the grid positions earned for the start of the race.

The optional Lap Counter can also be added by simply plugging it into the track. It counts and displays the laps as well as the positions of the cars during the race.

Press the select key once to show the letters "FUE" to select the amount of fuel for your car. Press the SELECT key once and "003" will appear. Each additional press of the SELECT key will add 1/8 of a tank to the fuel. You can select between 003 to 008 fuel level to begin the race with.

After personalizing the cars, you can now program the race options. Hold the MODE key down for 2 seconds, until PIT appears, then press SELECT once to display "UP", to race with the laps counting up.

Press SELECT to set the number of laps you want to race. "001" will display. Each additional press will increase one lap, pressing and holding it will add laps in tens. You can program it up to 999. When you reach 999 it will start again from zero.
